Visions of the future

Ich präsentiere euch ein Drabble, dass ich mal geschrieben habe. Meine Freundin hatte die Aufgabe für die Schule eine 100 Wort Geschichte zu schreiben, die die Zukunft darstellen sollte. Ich fande, das war eine fantastische Idee und schrieb gleich drei. Das beste davon poste ich jetzt hier, weil ich möchte.

Everything suddenly goes black. Alani knows that someone hat someday told her what to do in case of a system failure. At least she assumes this is a system failure as it had never occurred before. Her hands fly about uselessly and she tries to remember the steps to exit the VR* even though she can’t imagine what lies outside of it. Her finger finally finds the button and she presses it slowly while drawing her mind out of the connection between user and interface. There is a high screeching sound. Light floods her vision. Reality is actually quite disappointing.
